Marion Loucks is an award winning artist who works primarily in Oil and Oil Pastel.  Louck's subject matter - landscapes and botanicals - reflects the Texas Hill Country where she lives.  Her work is in many private collections throughout the country.
Marion has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Tulsa where she studied under Alexander Hogue.  Postgraduate work at Texas A & M University in Corpus Christi, focused on art and art administration.  Loucks has studied under
Bill Otton, Dick Turner and Elizabeth Simpson.
For many years Loucks served as the staff administrator for the Public Art Program for the City of Corpus Christi.  She oversaw the installation of artwork throughout the city and the management of the City's public art collection.
Marion Loucks is affiliated with the Fredericksburg Art Guild and the Kerr Arts and Cultural Center.  Her work is on exhibit at the Fredericksburg Art Guild,
