The Fredericksburg Art Guild presents the
6th annual juried show of
"Gillespie County Faces and Places"
Juror Nancy Bush is a native Texan, born in Austin and currently residing in Fredericksburg, Texas. She spent many years in the business world before pursuing her long time interest in landscape painting. Nancy became interested in the subdued tonalist palette and studied painters such as Inness, Levitan and Chatham. Nancy and her husband travel extensively and, while traveling, most of her paintings are done "au plein air". She also spends five to six days in her studio each week on an average of six to eight hours per day. Her subject matter comes from all over the United States and Europe and she strives for her paintings to have a universal appeal. Nancy is represented in Fredericksburg by Insight Gallery and many other galleries throughout the United States.
She is an award winning artist of the highest caliber and her work has been exhibited in many invitational shows.
The opening reception is February 27, 2010

"Gillespie County Faces and Places"
